We walked to look at a shallow pool that had a variety of starfish, coral,
and water plants in it.
A sign said that we could touch these starfish and coral.
That was a good way to learn about those marine creatures,
so we touched them. It was like touching a rock;
I didn’t know that starfish were hard until I touched them;
I thought they were soft.
And there was another surprise as I explored the pool.
The water was too cold; it froze my hand.
Therefore, I didn’t touch much of the sea life.
Instead, I watched them moving slowly around the pool,
so slowly I wondered how they get everywhere.

Near the pool was a transparent arch full of water that had lots of jellyfish
swimming in it.
My friends and I stared at the jellyfish and traced them
swimming in circles through the arch.
While we were standing there,
we noticed there were some children taking pictures in front of the jellyfish arch
who wore funny hats.
What was that? Where did they get them?
We looked around the arch and found a basket of jellyfish hats,
the same one the children wore.
It seemed to be a good idea to take a picture.
My friend and I tried the hats on and imitated jellyfish for the picture.
We looked so funny and then couldn’t stop laughing at each other.
